we have purchased 3 samsung tvs and have been completely impressed with the quality of the tv. we decided to be brand loyal and purchase this expensive fridge. within a few months, the icemaker stopped working. the repair person said that it is not worth repairing because samsung appliances are garbage. (his words) he makes a living fixing samsung. he said don't bother to fix the icemaker because the motherboard will fail soon and then the fridge will be a complete loss. will never buy a samsung appliance again, so dissapointed! i am always so brand loyal!

Woke up one morning and the back right side of the unit was pushed inwards , similar to someone pushing the panel in, but it wasn't the case. Apparently the Styrofoam or whatever insulation they use in these fridges had shrunk.
People should review products after they have used them, not after unboxing them LOL.

This Samsung has a great deal of space in both the freezer and refrigerator. We like the ice maker on the door and not in the freezer. This saves space in the freezer.
I like the large opening for ice & water on the door. It would be better if the word ice and water on the selection plate would be backlit so it can be easily selected during the day or night. The icons for Ice cube, crushed ice and water glow and show the last option used but the word Ice or Water to make your current selection blend in and are not backlit.

This is a great refrigerator. It's quiet and has an Energy Star rating. Plus, it comes with plenty of storage space and some wonderful extra features. The in-door water and ice dispenser works beautifully.

This was our first refrigerator purchase. We chose it because of the Black Friday price. We have mostly been pleased. We ha one issue when it stop working but Samsung sent a repair man to fix the issue.

When set on quick freeze/fridge setting, it took less than 4 hours for the temperature in the freezer to reach 0. That made it very convenient for transferring frozen food into the freezer. Refrigerator section took less than 2 hours to reach desired temp. Liked the temperature display on the door. It is hard to rate performance because I haven't had it long enough to determine that.

We purchased this product as a replacement for our refrigerator of 18 plus years. We have been very pleased with all the features of the refrigerator and especially like the side by side capability. Both the freezer and refrigerator sides give us ample room for all our storage needs.

The refrigerator has LED lighting inside which is unique and plenty of freezer room because the ice maker is in the door not on on a shelf like most other refrigerators. I think this model is a good buy for people on a budget and it looks nice and is plenty big for most households. But, it lacks other features that other refrigerator's offer such as spill proof shelves and pull out shelves for easy cleaning and the lighting doesn't extend all the way to the bottom crisper drawers making it hard to see their contents. And the front control panel is black in color which makes it hard to see the controls without sufficient light in the room. Plus the water in the door doesn't have a water tray or drain to catch dripping water from the dispenser so it drips down the front of the refrigerator. Overall, I'd give it a C+ rating.

The Ice and Water in the door are a great feature ! Ice maker works great . The Digital Temp gauge
on the door is a terrific feature that gives you peace of mind knowing both Freezer and the Refrigerator Temps ! The Big Bonus is the Shelves on the doors are very sturdy and wide. We
had another model and constantly had shelves break . I would recommend this Samsung model

this refrigerator meets all my needs. My kitchen is not real large but it fits in well with my other appliances and cabinets. My old refrigerator was another brand and because of the way my counter is built the refrigerator door would not open back all the way. This new one is perfect and both doors work perfectly with my counter arrangement.

This refrigerator was a present from our children, but I would not have chosen it myself.
We received one and it had to be returned because it was loud and constantly beeped error messages.
When the delivery of my new fridge was made, the delivery team did not balance it. Neither Best Buy nor Samsung would do anything about it, so at nearly 70 years old, I had to get down on the floor and try to do the job myself.
The fridge operates properly now, but the design in general is very poor.
The shelves are not adjustable with one exception and that is only 4" of difference.
The 3 huge drawers at the bottom don't open far enough and we have to remove them to find fruits, vegetables or sandwich meats or cheeses. Either they need more than 3, but smaller drawers or they need to open a lot farther so you can get to as much as would fill one of those drawers.
The fridge is also far deeper than the average kitchen counter and sticks way out into the kitchen. There is no alternative space in our home and it's in the way.
The water and ice dispenser on the freezer door has nothing to catch water or drain it, so it constantly splashes on the floor.
The buttons on the control panel are not back lit, so it's impossible to read them when you want to change from water to ice or cubes to crushed.
In general, the only thing this unit does right is freeze on the left and refrigerate on the right, but it has to be the most ill designed refrigerator I've ever seen.

Overall I like the refrigerator. I only have one issue, the water coming from the dispenser in the door is not very cold. In fact I would describe the water as barely being cool.

I really like most everything about this refrigerator. It looks great on the inside and out. The lighting is fabulous on the inside. The freezer seems much bigger with the ice in the door. One small downfall is the somewhat loud humming noise that comes from it.

The appliance itself seems to be a quality product but there are not enough options for arranging the shelf spacing. I know that the door shelves are designed to hold a gallon jug but we prefer not to keep milk and juice in the door. There are very limited options for arranging the shelves to hold a gallon jug.

This fridge has a ton of space inside of it, especially in the freezer. The entire ice maker unit is in the door, which frees up the entire freezer for storage. The fridge was noisy at start-up, but once it achieved normal temperature, it quieted down to a whisper. The lighing inside is great.

I love the clean lines of the outside and the big 3 drawers inside really help when storing all your food. It has nice glass shelves both in the refrigerator compartment and in the freezer, which
also has roomy drawers for storage. The only reason I did not give it an excellent is we are big
ice water drinkers and the ice maker does not seem to be efficient. Seems we are always out
of ice???

Reliable, durable and functions as expected.
Looks great in my kitchen and was a breeze to set up and get comfortable with.

First one I bought had incredible noise problems. Sounded like a machine gun going off in my kitchen and could be heard throughout the house. Had a service tech come in after 2 weeks (giving it a chance to break in). He spent an hour, made small adjustments then declared "The new ones are all this noisy!" It wasn't until I made a recording of the noise and went back to complain to Lowes that I finally got it replaced. Replacement works well, but this model no longer available.
