refrigerator performance degrades quickly over time. i have an much older frigidaire refrigerator chugging along (over 20 years old) and this high tech refrigerator barely makes 7. over the past couple years the refrigerator performance has worsened. now for the refrigerator to work, i have to empty the refrigerator, either turn it off or chip the ice away from the back of the unit where significant ice forms. works for about 2 weeks. not acceptable performance.

the refrigerator works great. i can't believe there isn't a front grill guard to stop things from rolling underneath the fridge such as childrens toys, pet toys, etc grill guards have come with refrigerators for years. very inconvenient to keep getting things out from underneath the fridge.

i had a 4 door samsung, loved it, but the ice maker was bad. it's a known issue. it was repaired, but never fully. monthly had to melt off chunks of ice with a blow dryer. new house doesn't have room for it so i thought i would try another model. this fridge fit the space. simple ice maker, so i thought that issue might be resolved.
nope. this ice maker is also bad. every time you open the freezer ice cubes fall out. where do they do? under the fridge? sometimes they slide out and the dog gets them. i guess i'm just leaving puddles underneath my fridge. the only solution we have found is to turn the ice maker before it fills up, and then to turn it back on when we need more ice.

after 14 months, all the door shelves broke similarly (including the lightly loaded butter shelf) and, after contacting samsung support, will cost $460 to replace - half the cost of the fridge.

... Until the defrost drain froze, and started leaking into the fridge. Other than that its great. Seems poorly designed the replacement clip to keep the drain from freezing is about 5 times longer... so yeah.

The freezer drawer is very easy to open and well designed. The refrigerator portion is spacious and easy to access. The controls are easy to access and the water filter looks easy to swap. We've had our unit for about a month and we love it.

Our french door refrigerator meets all expectations. It is quick and easy to find whatever I need due to spacious shelves in doors and interior as well as bright lighting. The temperatures are perfect with the freezer keeping all products super frozen. Example is hard ice cream and ice cubes that last much longer in our ice tea. We are truly impressed with the product.

This replaced a 20 year old refrigerator. It has a ton of space and easily configured. Really like the bottom freezer which is convenient. But it does make noises that are annoying. We're going to call the service folks to see what they can do about this. I found some blogs that listed the same issues as it seems to relate to the design of the components. Seems there is an mat to be placed between the heating and cooling components. Hopefully it's only a simple fix.

this product has great features, starting with the lighting.
when you open the doors, you can see everything, the lighting allows you
to see everywhere in the refrigerator.
I love how the shelves are adjustable and there are different temperature allowances.
not to mention, the alarm that goes off if you let one of the doors open.
It is quite roomy and so far we love it.

The interior is suited for the items I keep. There is plenty of space for larger and taller items. The ice maker is working but it takes much longer to fill the dispenser tray than my past fridge. I go through a lot of water bottles in the morning for the family and there isn't enough ice to fill them all. Also, I'm used to the doors auto closing on my last fridge but this one you have to deliberately close the doors. Luckily there is a door alert if it is open too long.

We can't say enough about Samsung. When our previous refrigerator quit working properly (it was a Samsung and only 4 years old), we contacted them and they worked with us at every step trying to get a repair. When the repair didn't pan out for various reasons, Samsung was willing and able to refund us the entire purchase price for the fridge so that we could purchase a new one. The interior is bright and easy to access, and we love the clear drawer holders in the doors. It makes it so much easier to see what is in them. I think our favorite part is the slide-able half shelf to allow for easy storage of taller items such as 2 liters of pop. Overall, this is a spacious and very well priced model. We shopped other brands, but this one has the best features for the price. A quality appliance. Thanks, Samsung.

Have had this refrigerator for a couple of weeks now, and so far so good. Love the actual temperature readings of the frige and freezer sections of the machine, Power cool and power freeze buttons are a great option, as is the ice maker on/off button. Much better replacement for the 13 year old frige we replaced with this one. Also like that you can choose different color finishes with this model. This one will be easier to replace the in-line water filter as well. Well designed.

This product makes extremely loud popping/cracking noises when in operation. Apparently it is caused by the expansion/contraction of the plastic parts within the unit. The noise is fairly constant and occurs any time of the day or night and is at times very loud.

Have only had this fridge a couple of days, but we love it. Only issue(operator error) was we left the ice maker off button on over night. Once we turned it on we started making ice in just two hours.
The Ice off indicator seems backwards to us. When the light is on the icemaker is off.
Runs quietly and cools down quickly.
We love Samsung products

After 19 years in our house, we finally needed a new refrigerator. We opted to not have the water and ice on the outside of the door to minimize what might fail. Really like the ice maker in the freezer drawer. Love the double doors on the refrigerator.

First, it is very attractive, but the French doors make everything so accessible. You wouldn't think there would be that much of a difference in French doors and side-by-side, but there is. I love the ice and because the ice maker is in the bottom, you can access it very easily (I'm vertically challenged) and take out the bucket for when you have lots of glasses to fill. Things are really cold and the freezer is huge. The controls are simple and easy to see. I like having the temperature displayed. I really like to "softer" lights inside.

We are very pleased with the well lit interior, and the great storage capacity in both refrigerator and freezer. The designers even included a safety feature I hadn't seen before. If the door is left open accidentally , a beeping alarm lets you know to close the door. It shows the extra effort to produce a quality product. we are new owners but quite pleased so far!

Not a huge fan of icemaker bin, some ice cubes tend to fall out and back onto freezer floor, other then that love the fridge. Great value for a fridge with it's 26 cu ft capacity.

This refrigerator is SO well laid out and flexible in terms of organizing! It is sturdy and not cheep feeling. It holds A LOT of food, I am a Costco shopper with a big family and my past refrigerators were always packed beyond reason. This one never feels full with the same amount of food. The deli drawer is super awesome, full with and depth of the fridge, I think it is key to why there is so much space, it holds a lot and is super handy. My old bottom freezer fridge was really challenging to get to the freezer items, this one has way more room and glides smooth for easy access. it works perfectly and is quiet. You have to mindful to make sure the fridge doors are closed as they don't fully close if you just let go or close without completion, but it's not a problem though as there is a little notification beep. I have not hooked up the ice so I can't comment there.
Anyway been meaning to write a review for a long time...I am in-love with this fridge!

I really like it! It looks great, works great, and the price was reasonable- -I especially like that it is white and NO water or ice access--prefer to make my own as it is such a mess on the floor, there is no ice build up, and one does not have to buy that costly filter. I am very satisfied!!
