Oven heating issues

We have had this stove for only 5 years and already having issues. The previous Whirlpool stove we had lasted 25+ years with no issues! The oven will not heat unless one of the burners is on. Doing online research about this issue, led us to replacing the reigniter. So we ordered the reigniter kit and will see if this takes care of the problem. But we shouldn't even be dealing with any problem after ONLY 5 years. And in the survey questions below, to ask if we have had our product serviced in the past 12 months! We shouldn't be having issues at all at this point.

Still going strong!! But the refrigerator?? The ice maker makes all kinds of bangs and noises!! The filter sucks to remove!!

Purchased it 5 years ago and had nothing but problems. Had to have a repairman come out shortly after I bought it. The broiler wasn't working right and never did. The rubber feet on the grates all fell off. Then the grates began to break. When inquiring about replacing them I found they cost more than the stove originally cost. I will never purchase another whirlpool item or another appliance from Home Depot.

I had to replace the igniter last year and I am now going through the same problem again, my oven igniter will not catch or it takes forever to lite, and then there is the gas that escapes while waiting for it to ignite not to mention that it dose not stay lit, so right now I have no oven, cant keep taking the chance of my food not getting cooked

As you mentioned in the email to us, we have only had the oven 4 years and it broke down after 3. The igniter failed which I had to pay $85 for a new one. Also the metal trim around the oven door came off on both ends. Before I re-glued the trim back on I noticed there was very little glue placed on the trim originally. I hope I have no other issues with this oven for a while or I will consider this oven a lemon. The previous Whirlpool oven had lasted at least 15 without an issue.

The first year I had the oven I had to pay $200 to get the igniter replaced right after the warranty expired. Exactly one year later I ran into the same issue, and have spent the year without the use of my oven as I can't afford to pay $200 every year just to use it.

Very happy with this purchase. Oven holds the temperature well. Cook top grates are cast iron and lift off easily for spill cleanup.

Overall, I am very happy with this range. There are a few things I wish we a bit better. There are not nylon buttons on the bottom of the feet to enable it to slide in and out for cleaning. The feet will damage the floor when you move it to clean unless you put sliders under it. Also, the back of the range's stainless piece has a texture, so it's more of a challenge to keep clean. The two front burners are very large, so if you need to use both with large pans, the heat isn't even in the pan. This also leads to things burning to the pan and requiring extra scrubbing. But on the good side, itis easy to clean, the oven comes to and holds temps well, and a simmer is possible.

I am truly disappointed with my appliances in addition to the customer service I™™ve received from Whirlpool. Both the over the range microwave and refrigerator have been serviced 3 times each in less than two years of owning these appliances. I will never purchase whirlpool appliances again!

Our range is two years old-bought brand new. We have already had to replace the igniter and will need to replace the seal around the oven door soon. Our last Whirlpool range was great-this one was a lemon. I never post reviews but this was such a bummer.

I broil a lot of my foods. I am older and it is very inconvenient for me to bend so low to broil something.
It took me a while to even find the second grate for the oven.

The gas oven stopped working after 13 months and it is no longer under warranty. I have already paid the gas company to troubleshoot it for $130 and they say it is an electrical problem. I am having another appliance repair company come out this week with a service fee of $90 without and parts or labor. Appliances are disposable nowadays.

I would not recommend this to anyone. It's cheap. It's small things fall apart on it and whirlpool will not stand behind it because they say that's cosmetic. Poor service. I can't wait to buy a different stove. I absolutely hate this stove. What I gave up that was probably 15 years old was in 10,000 times. Better condition than what this one is. It's like I got to used machine or something. It's been bad from the beginning

The front of the oven trim was not on the oven correctly . It keeps falling off . I had the extra to get it fixed even though it was like that since I got it they said it was not covered . Very unhappy with the service .

I have only had the oven for two years, and each summer I have had to pay to replace the igniter. It recently broke again and we want to just buy a new oven from a different brand because our gas bill has been $300 cheaper since it broke a month, and the cost to repair it again is not worth it.

The glass shattered on the inside and is in need of repair. To much glass which is unusual for a oven. Stick with washing machine thats what you do best!!

I haven™™t used a gas stove in a long time. I could not figure out why there was only one rack for baking until I realized the bottom panel was the broiler. I am a senior citizen, and I do not like the broiler on the bottom at all. I love to broil, but trying to bend down so far and to see what™™s going on that close to the floor is really very inconvenient.
